- 2001 – Northern Expansion project permitted and under construction, doubling size of port
- 2001 – Acquired South Lafourche Airport and surrounding 1,200 acres
- 2003 – New Port administrative facility constructed
- 2004 - $27 million total budget
- 2004 – Annual lease revenues exceed $10 million
- 2005 – Nearly 250 companies operate from and/or utilize Port Fourchon
- 2006 - Construction of new toll bridge at Leeville begins
- 2007 - 700-acre Northern Expansion developed, and over half leased
- 2008 - Additional 400-acre expansion
