DRILLING BAN
IN RESPONSE TO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S MORATORIUM ON DEEPWATER DRILLING:
The Greater Lafourche Port Commission, in a proactive move to help businesses in Port Fourchon, announced at its June 23rd meeting that it will not assess basic land escalations for one year AND will cut basic rent across the board for port tenants by 30%, effective July 1st for at least six months.
